What to Expect

Judy - Chiropractic Assistant and Reception

We hope you will feel immediately at home when you enter our office. It is not your typical healthcare office (but then, Dr. Rush is not your typical healthcare provider). Ours is a relaxed and casual office (that takes your health seriously) and we promote a friendly yet professional environment where patients can quickly feel welcomed by easily getting to know our staff and each other, if they choose to. (If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every bit of apprehension, and help you feel at home.)

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it – and the better we get to know you, your history and your desires - the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us if you have any further question, and to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

  • First Visit. To find out if we can help you, we ask questions and listen.

  • Second Visit. We’ll report what we found and answer all your questions.

  • Regular Visit. A typical visit will be much shorter, but just as important!

Dr. Rush Asks some important questions of interest to Philadelphia residents - Chiropractor Philadelphia Dr. Rush Asks...

Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Philadelphia and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
