Regular Care Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

A typical visit will be much shorter than the previous two, and each visit is as important as the one before it, and the one after. Consider your healing process to be like building a brick wall. Each visit is a brick, and each visit is as important as the others. Healing is a process that takes time and direction.

Visits consist of some discussion, a specific chiropractic examination and an adjustment (we have many different methods of accomplishing this, to accommodate different situations, ages and comfort levels). We may also follow up the adjustment with therapies if needed. Therapies can consist of pleasant ultrasound, electric muscle stim, heat, ice, vibration-massage, deep muscle work (trigger point therapy) or even a half hour specific massage with one of our well-trained muscle therapists.

Through and through, each visit is an extremely pleasant and effective experience.

Dr. Rush Asks some important questions of interest to Philadelphia residents - Chiropractor Philadelphia Dr. Rush Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Philadelphia chiropractic practice.
